Chaidura – The Light

London-based Chaidura, an alternative artist best known for contrasting and dramatic sound released their latest single ‘The Light’ just a couple of weeks ago.
Chaidura doesn’t hold back with this track, as we hear heart-wrenching lyrics about wanting to be saved and ’embracing the light’. Kicking the track off with a strong bass beat and even a saxophone melody, it’s evident Chaidura embraces the chaos when writing new music. Partway through the song, we’re treated with a heavy breakdown, teamed with stabbing riffs and guttural screams ideal for a live set, before going back to the familiar bass beat. Its high energy, startling and dramatic.
Having released a few singles throughout this year, including ‘Basilisk’, which is the start of the story to this newest single, the artwork also follows the same creative theme to match this. Chaidura merges feminine beauty and horror aspects, creating a visual contrast to blend with his music.
Chaidura will be releasing his anticipated debut EP Temple Paradise in the Spring of 2024.
