Booming riffs open up ‘Crushed Morale’ from New Zealand metal mob Thess, riffs that don’t really relent throughout the whole track and are backed by powerful vocals and a catchy as hell bassline.
The Kiwi band are raw, unfiltered and fun. There are big metal sections, some prog is brought in and softer elements. Though the latter is short in supply at most. Overall this is a rewarding song that requires multiple listens to fully grasp.
