Taking elements of 80s pop, emo through the years and a bit of modern indie, Wax Heart Sodality are joining bands like Phoxjaw in creating a huge sound that doesn’t relent through its 214-second run time.
From the frantic guitar interrupting the opening drum beat the track explodes and would likely be a quite generic rock track if it wasn’t for the vocals, reminiscent of so many musical heroes from decades gone by. A modern track that takes inspiration from all over the shop.
