Looking to bring a modern twist to a classic metal sound, American metallers Shadow of the Throne have released their latest single ‘Rise’.
With harsh vocals throughout, the melodic nature of the guitars is what will drag in most listeners, but it’s the almost nu-metal vibe that will likely keep people. That and the beastly breakdown toward the end. There’s nothing revolutionary here, but that’s by design. This is just old-school metal that has been freshened up a little. Give it a spin!
