We don’t really tend to get music from the Isle of Man filter through to us. Whether that’s because Silo are the first band from the island to actually form is probably not true, but if this is the standard then we want to make sure we get more.
Combining clean vocals with shouts ala AOF, the band bring the energy with impressive consistency. Opening up with a riff that feels like the electric version of Tenacious D’s ‘One Note Song’, it explodes with all the angst of a garage band after not too long and doesn’t relent from there.
For a first track this is a marker for the band from the island with probably the best flag in the world.
