We’re throwing it back a couple of decades now with Dublin based Cell Games and their recent debut track ‘Here’s To Your Bones’, a track combining hard rock and nu-metal into one pounding homage to the early noughties.
From the opening beat you can feel some Linkin Park, then some Korn style riffs and vocals kick in and you’re just transported back twenty years by a band releasing their first piece of music as a quartet. Despite having formed during lockdown as a two-piece, it is the arrival of two new members that seems to have given life to the project and it feels like the only way is up for the Irish metallers. Get ready to bounce along with these.
