Releasing just their second single ever are Scandinavian metallers State Of Trust, a Norwegian band that are are going hard from the very beginning. Banging riffs and snarling growls kick in as soon as that play button is pressed and are unrelenting for much of the next four minutes.
Bringing in harmonies and more melodic elements through the track works well here without changing the pace or power of the track, keeping those riffs at the forefront of everything that the band is trying to do. After two tracks though, this is a band that are doing everything right. Excellent riffs, melodic and heavy in all the right places and feeling like they fit into that Parkway Drive, KSE type of scene without copying it entirely. Big things could be coming for these guys.
