If you’re looking for a bit of a throwback to the 80s and the trashier times of metal, but can’t help but think it would be better with Spanish rap vocals instead of that same generic style then Cardiac is where your attention needs to be diverted immediately.
The Swiss quintet are into their 3rd decade as a band and it’s about time they blew up over here. The unique combination outlined before falls perfectly together, the vocal style being raw and abrasive, merging with the incessant riffs and booming drums. ‘OG’ is referencing the first, the original and this certainly feels like it’s going back to find something a bit different and a bit exciting.
