In contrast with the sombre, quiet evening with history currently in the making Will headed down into Manchester for a night of raucous fun at Deaf Institute with local group BODY WATER easing us into the night, effortlessly followed up by Bristolian noise generators PHOXJAW. The night was shaping up to be one for the books and once BLOOD COMMAND explode onto stage with their signature hardcore/pop infusion its a done deal, this will be a night to remember. With dancing galore, band members that spend more time in the crowd than on stage and a series of synchronised high kicks that get a solid 10 from me the small room is a pure powder keg of energy.
Honestly though if you have yet to see Blood Command live do yourselves a favour, don your best 3-stripe and get down to the nearest show pronto, you will not regret it!
