Picking up their instruments together for the first time in 2015, 2020 must have seemed like a distant dream for Sloppy Hill and not the nightmare that it has turned out to be. Still, when bands are able to put out tracks like ‘Corey Sun’ there is hope on the horizon.
With gritty, raw vocals throughout and a thoroughly catchy riff, ‘Corey Sun’ captures everything that was good about the more commercial side of grunge and gives it a bit of an alt-rock twist.
If you like you music to have a big old tinge of raw, unrefined energy then stumbling on Sloppy Hill is probably the best thing you’ve done today.
