With Scott Middleton of Cancer Bats fame managing the band and collaborating with members of The Dirty Nil, Napoleon are setting themselves up perfectly behind the scenes. Really though, it’s what the band is releasing that is the important thing and sadly it has taken most of 2020 for us to fall in love.
Combining rock and punk with some elements of the alt and hardcore scenes the band are releasing music with so much energy it’s hard to just listen to it sat at home.
The most astonishing thing is that the band have only been together for a couple of years. ‘Amends’ has such an air of authority about it, the sort of song that a band far beyond their years releases. Canada has a knack for pushing out bands that blend or define genres and Napoleon are the latest to try and achieve this. They’ve started bloody well.
