Fans of the early 90s Seattle scene need to tune in to ‘Solar Sexual’, the peculiarly named track from Chicago based Chout.
With Alice In Chains style vocals and an atmosphere that is just disgustingly filthy. ‘Solar Sexual’ feels like a song that is completely inspired by those Seattle bands. It’s got that long, slow riff style that is synonymous with grunge and drawn out vocals to match.
If you miss the old days of grunge then you need to get this playing. Chout could well be driving a grunge revival.
