American rockers Mindful are up next with a track that lives up to their band name very well. ‘Derealization’ is a song about the band’s vocalist and his battle against the mental disorder of the same name.
If you‘re a fan of bands like Touché Amore then you’re likely going to enjoy what is on show here as the band open with passionate and deep vocals and a beat that is almost like you’re being walked through the song. As it progresses there is a feeling of almost floating, mirroring the symptoms of the disorder being protrayed.
This isn’t your standard post-hardcore song, it feels bigger than that and like it truly means something to those performing it.
