If you’ve seen the movie 28 Days Later then Reism’s ‘Take It From Me’ will feel eerily familiar. There’s an almost inevitable feel to the song, a relentlessness. It just keeps building and building for five minutes before unleashing an assault on the ears like no other.
Musically there’s a consistency to the song, soaring riffs, pounding drums, exactly what you want from a song. But the vocals truly push the song onwards. The clean singing is frenetically beautiful and the screeches painfully desperate. This is not your normal metal song. Give it a listen in our playlist below.
