Didn’t think ArcTanGent Festival could get any better? Well somehow it did. With the announcement of their Thursday night headliner as well as other insanely good bands, ATG seem to be making a bid for best lineup of the year.
Coheed & Cambria will take to the ArcTanGent main stage on Thursday night delivering their all so excellent blend of anthemic prog rock. The band have made some of the very best music of the 21st Century so seeing them at the festival is sure to be a night to remember.
Fancy something heavy? Well, Employed To Serve are gonna bring that in spades. The band have been hot shit since their 2017 record The Warmth of a Dying Sun, constantly having to prove that they are in fact as good as everyone says. Fortunately, they always deliver like no other. Joining ETS are their Spinefarm friends and another exciting British presence, Puppy! The indescribable genre blenders are another band with a reputation of pleasing the crowd when live. The band have toured mercilessly over the past few years, supporting the likes of Black Peaks, Creeper and CKY, and although many have seen them, they’re still so exciting.
Rounding off this announcement are Raketkanon, Brutus, Cultdreams, Slow Crush and Gender Roles. 5 bands that have all excited MNN in the past few years, 5 bands that are perfect for ATG, 5 BANDS WHO ARE GONNA MAKE THIS DAMN FESTIVAL FULL OF CLASHES! Good job I’m ready to run around that festival site.
