Cancer Bats are suitably excited and had this to say: “HOLY CRAP WE’RE PLAYING 2000TREES !!!! THE LINE UP THIS YEAR LOOKS AMAZING!!!! WE GOTTA REALLY CRANK IT UP TO BLAST WITH ALL THESE BIG DOGS!!!! CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!! SEE YOU IN THE PIIIIIIITTTTTTTT !!!!!!!!”
Also new this year, and as part of 2000trees Festival commitment to eliminating unnecessary single-use plastic on site, this year they have partnered with UK charity, FRANK Water. FRANK will be on site with their Festival Refill Service to serve unlimited refills of filtered, chilled water. Just visit the FRANK Water refill stand or find one of the mobile FRANK Tanks to buy a FRANK refill bottle (prices from £6) or BYO refill bottle and buy a FRANK wristband (£3.50) to access the same unlimited refills of filtered, chilled water all weekend. Summer 2018 saw FRANK Water take their waste reducing, refill service to 13 UK music festivals where 222 volunteers served a whopping 135,638 refills of filtered, chilled water, potentially saving the same number of single-use plastic bottles. 100% of the profit from the sale of FRANK refill bottles and wristbands funds the charity’s life-changing work in India and Nepal. FRANK works with local NGOs to provide marginalised communities with access to safe, clean drinking water & decent toilets. Since 2005, FRANK Water has reached more than 386,500 people in 440 communities. Visit www.frankwater.com to find out more.
Happening on Thursday 11th July/ Friday 12th July/ Saturday 13th July, tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased from – HERE
