Ella Grace – War Of Alchemy
Release Date: 2nd February 2024
British alt-rocker Ella Grace has dropped her latest track ‘War Of Alchemy’. A track that summons grunge vibes of the past in a track that has all the hallmarks of a movie where hope seems lost. ‘War Of Alchemy’ is a self-reflective piece of art that start off brutally haunting, pops a toe in more traditional hard rock and then goes back to the former. A song that feels like a walk on a rainy day, with sections of brief respite as the clouds part.

German death metal is next on the menu with ‘Thy Breath Not Mine’, the latest track from the Germans and will feature on late-2024’s album Dysphoric Devotion. DIME – Flourish
Release Date: 19th January 2024
Songs about personal matters often connect better with audiences and it’s like that ‘Flourish’ is a track that can do just that. The song from American alt-rockers DIME focuses on that time when you realise that adult life just isn’t all it was sold to you as. Sat firmly in alt-rock, but with some grittier riffs than you’ll often find from bands in this area, ‘Flourish’ has a raw finish that adds to the sense of authenticity that the band bring to the fore. Fans of the likes of The Dirty Nil will likely be happy with this discovery.
MANØRS – Happy Families
Release Date: 2nd February 2024
Some British modern-metalcore is the final course here with MANØRS being a band that have their finger right on the pulse. ‘Happy Families’ may be their debut track but this is an outfit with a clear sound. The mixing of heavy growls, clean singing and just about everything in between brings a unique vibe to the track already. Adding heavy drums in with some bruising riffs and electronic elements to ground the track means ‘Happy Families’ is going to be a hit with the Bad Omens, I Prevail crowd for sure.
