Those heavier, punkier days that Frank Carter used to embody appear to be over for now (though the talk of a Gallows reunion seems to be hotting up!), for now The Rattlesnakes are leaning more into the heartfelt, alt-rock vibes that edged towards over the past five or so years.
‘Happier Days’ feels like a happy medium. It isn’t the super soft stuff like ‘Brambled’, but it definitely doesn’t go as hard as ‘Juggernaut’ went back in the day. One that may help people bridge the gap.
