Energy and fun seem to be the hallmarks of modern punk unless they’re poking fun at Donald Trump which seems to be a bit overdone now. Thankfully Soft Jocks are doing it the right way and ‘Love Like Elvis’ is their latest single.
Soon to be accompanied with a B-movie style horror movie video, the track takes on board the influences of, I assume, most punk bands with The Ramones and Fidlar to name a couple. This comes through very well as the pure release of energy 8 seconds into the track gets you wanting to dance like it’s the start of the 21st Century.
