New Music Roundup – 12th April 2026 – Feat. Guillotine, Mean Sea, KATER and more…

Guillotine – Haunted

Release Date: 3rd April 2026

2025 saw the return of Guillotine with a new single and 2026 has seen them double down on their return with ‘Haunted’, an expansive and emotional track that will pull on heartstrings and have fans singing the words back with all of their might. Musically tight, there’s a reassuring melody that feels like a delightful backdrop to the raw vocals that really are the star of the show for a band that we’re glad to have back.

HAUNTED by Guillotine

Meta Forza x Karla Sro – ALiVE (feat. Meekasia)

Release Date: 3rd April 2026

If you’re constantly in search of a modern sound to your rock and metal music, ‘ALiVE’ is an ideal addition to your playlists. Pulling together inspirations from their American and Czech roots, there are pop-esque cleans, growls and screams alongside electronic beats and riffs. Get ready to headbang and dance along in equal measure.

KATER – For A Spell

Release Date: 20th March 2026

Rapid grunge from Germany feels like the right way to start you Sunday and at the back end of last month, KATER provided that soundtrack with the release of ‘For A Spell’. If you grew up playing the old Need For Speed games, this track feels like a nostalgic return to that era. Fast, furious and gritty. Grunge will live forever.

KSICK x Aaron Gillespie – Is It Enough?

Release Date: 23rd March 2026

American trio KSICK pulling Underoath’s Aaron Gillespie in on a track feels like quite the flex and thankfully ‘Is It Enough?’ answers it’s own question quickly. An atmospheric romp that sets its stall out early as more post-hardcore before unleashing itself as a little more alt-metal as it builds to its conclusion. A huge effort.

Mean Sea – Look Around

Release Date: 10th April 2026

Entering their tenth year as a band, Mean Sea are still releasing bouncy alt-rock that will have even the most ardent of music fans wanting to get out of their seat and bounce around the living room. Catchy from the outset, bouncy throughout and self-reflective if you’ll let it be. What more do you need from your rock music?
