Last Night Of Solace – Fractured (feat. Kellin Quinn)

Dallas, Texas based Last Night Of Solace pulled a huge collaboration in 2023, bringing in Sleeping With Sirens’ Kelling Quinn to provide the cleans that are just so uniquely his. It would seem unlikely that much could overshadow Quinn’s appearance on the track, but on a track that brings metalcore influences into a proggy environment, they more enhance the experience than define it.
Pathfinder – Unbarred

Staying across the pond, but heading a little further north, Pathfinder are a band that are just starting out, ‘Unbarred’ being their debut release despite having formed in 2022. The group has spent their time cutting their teeth in the local scene and the evidence is clear here on a song that is as tight as it is painfully heavy in places. If this is what deathcore is going to sound like now, count us in!
pointless – Same Shit

Just the third song from German post-hardcore mob pointless sees them continue to bring those Turnstile-esque vibes, with the heaviness dialled up a couple of notches. Three and a half minutes of this song fly by in an instant as a band that are destined to become Berlin’s finest start to really find their footing. This is a band to keep a really close eye on!
