Closing off their latest EP, Fight/Flight/Freeze/Fawn, ‘Nightmares’ feels like a fitting name for a song that conjures many emotions.
From melodic vocals in the choruses to post-hardcore-esque laments during the verses, Vulpine keep things fresh from front to back. Musically there’s always something new to focus on as the band traverse through various subgenres with seeming ease. ‘Nightmares’ feels unique and familiar at the same time.
