With nautical themes running amok in the band and song name, Sailing Before The Wind have shipped themselves back to 2011 with a re-recorded version of ‘Cross The Ocean’ from their debut EP, Horizon. A re-recording sees the band try to recapture and reinvigorate their metalcore roots, something achieved with seeming ease. Listening to ‘Cross The Ocean’ feels like stepping into a time machine and popping out in the world of riffs, breakdowns and Myspace. Sounds pretty appealing right now to be honest.
