Using 2020 productively is something that I think we all aimed to do but for one reason or another many of us failed spectacularly. Stonehaven succeeded where we didn’t though and ‘The Colours Inside My Mind’ is the result of their time.
With a nod towards the more pop side of alt-rock, with bands like Don Broco an easily spottable influence, Stonehaven have pieced together an immediately relatable song with lyrics you will want to learn to sing back at them (when we’re allowed…).
If listening to ‘The Colours Inside My Mind’ is the most productive thing you do today then it is still a day well spent.
