‘Letting Go’ is the brand-new single from Oceanwide. Combining emotional lyrics with heavy rock vibes Oceanwide show how they have something to say and they’re more than happy to sing about it.
The vocals come in straight away with little guitar accompaniment so creating a sense of unknowing but also building anticipation. The song really gets going in the first chorus. The guitars are distorted and heavily prominent with the powerful drums backing them up. We get another snarling voice in the chorus that cuts across the softer one giving the song a heavier feel to it.
The middle 8 shows off some impressive guitar playing and strained vocals showing the talent of this band.
