Kicking off with a riff that will throw you all the way back to A’s single ‘Nothing’, South African rockers This Summer have created a more modern sound than the 2002 hit. Which is lucky as we’re 18 years down the line.
Soft vocals combined with an electronic element mean that ‘Commotion’ is the sort of song you want to be hearing on a night out and the catchy lyrics in places back that up too.
This has the potential to become a bit of an anthem for a summer that is largely being discarded. Give it a listen and salvage a bit of yours:
