Salt Hill – Like Fiends

It’s always nice to hear genres that are a bit overdone get a new dose of inspiration and that’s what Salt Hill are doing for that alt metal/metalcore style with their track ‘Life Fiends’ from the back end of last year.
‘Like Fiends’ is an appropriate name for a song given what’s been said as it is focused on the effects of losing your identity in a crowd and it is Laura Glover’s vocals that ensure that this isn’t the case on this song. They aren’t necessarily the most powerful vocals in metal but with the band have identified the strengths and are playing to them.
This UK based band are following in the footsteps of bands like Derange and really feel like a bright future is ahead of them.
