Marmozets announce biggest headline London show at The Forum on October 19th

2018 has seen MARMOZETS take a giant step forwards. Their second album ‘Knowing What You Know Now’ was greeted with widespread critical acclaim, with many hailing the youthful quintet as a leading light of the modern British rock scene. That status has been underlined with the support of Radio 1 DJs Daniel P Carter, Annie Mac and Scott Mills.

Already confirmed to hit the road in April and May to warm-up for their main stage set at the Download Festival, MARMOZETS can now announce details of the biggest headline London show of their career so far. They’re set to play the O2 Forum Kentish Town on October 19th, and tickets go on sale from 9.30am this Friday, March 23rd (ticket link http://gigst.rs/Marm).

The band’s summer festival schedule is shaping up, with TRANSMT, Community Festival, Kendal Calling and Standon Calling all confirmed in the UK. Internationally, they’re also set for Summer Sonic in Japan, Pinkpop in the Netherlands, Open’er in Poland, and Rock For People in the Czech Republic.

13th – Belfast, Oh Yeah Music Centre

 May

 July

Recorded with the legendary producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies), ‘Knowing What You Now Know’ is the band’s most ambitious and accomplished offering to date. While ‘Play’, the pounding ‘New Religion’, the pulse-quickening ‘Major System Error’ and the spiky ‘Lost In Translation’ find MARMOZETS embracing a new intensity within their controlled chaos, the band have the courage to explore fresh territory too.

Consisting of two sets of siblings, the MacIntyres (Becca, Sam and drummer Josh) and the Bottomleys (lead guitarist Jack and bassist Will), MARMOZETS built a cult underground following with a series of independently released EPs. Their reputation exploded after they signed to Roadrunner Records and released their debut album ‘The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets’. Praised by Q, Noisey, NME and The Guardian, it also won Kerrang!’s coveted Album of the Year award.
