DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL have announced the first headliner for 2018 in the from of former Black Sabbath frontman OZZY OSBOURNE!
Since Black Sabbath’s final show on February 4th 2017, Osbourne has been bringing his solo career back to the forefront of metal and will be the first time he has performed solo at Download.
This past weekend, Osbourne headlined the Friday night of the second Ozzfest meets Knotfest in California.
Osbourne hasn’t released any new solo material since 2010’s SCREAM album. Will there be any new music in time for Download?
Download Madrid also made their first announcement today, including Osbourne headlining and Avenged Sevenfold, Marilyn Manson and Judas Priest, one of the headliners for Bloodstock 2018.
